Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Day 2: Accra - Exploring the Capital City
Begin the day with a visit to the artist hub of Accra: Nima Art Market and Chale Wote Street Art.
Gain insight into the Ga culture by visiting the historical site of Jamestown, known for its colonial architecture and local fishing community.
Visit the the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum to learn about Ghana's first President and how he inspired his nation.
Visit the Arts Centre in Accra, to view artworks and interact with local artists, as well as buy authentic Ghanaian crafts.
End the day with a visit to downtown Accra for dinner and lounge music in one of the city’s popular bars.
Day 3: Cape Coast and Elmina - Rich History and Heritage
Step out of Accra for a drive to the coastal city of Cape Coast.
Explore the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a poignant reminder of the transatlantic slave trade.
Visit Elmina Castle, another historic landmark that played a significant role in the slave trade.
Immerse yourself in the culture of the Fante people by interacting with locals and experiencing traditional music and dance.
End the day enjoying a scenic sunset at the Cape Coast beach, complete with bonfire and BBQ.
Day 4: Kumasi - The Cultural Heartland
Travel to Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region.

Your hostess will introduce you to an exotic array of tastes and flavours, teaching you how to create authentic Ghanaian dishes such as fufu, groundnut soup, fried plantain, palava sauce and red red, using traditional African cooking methods.

Day 8: Beach Relaxation and Departure
Kick back and enjoy a lazy day at the Labadi or Kokrobite Beach.
All too soon, it’s time to say ‘bye for now’ to Ghana. Transfer to the Airport for your onward journey back home.
